The ‘Sealine Owners Club Spain’ (SOCS) third summer cruise July 2010.
The emphasis was on relaxation, with a gentle cruise to the beautiful island of Menorca. Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands, and very green, with lush pine forests, and plentiful fields which are home to more than 25,000 grazing cattle. The north coast of the island is rocky and rough, and dotted with sleepy fishing villages, whilst in contrast the peaceful south coast is full of secluded coves, with fine golden sand and sheltered by towering cliffs. Combine this with the abundance of fine produce and the freshest seafood to be found in a wealth of fabulous restaurants, Menorca was the ideal destination.
Onto the evening we had a Summer paella quay party – a chance to sample this popular Spanish fiesta dish, accompanied by some traditional music and dancing under the stars right next to the waters edge.
For those of you who were able to join us last year, you will know that we had a really fantastic trip to the party island of Ibiza, with an excellent turnout of 20 Sealine boats. Further informaiton about this years cruise will be release soon www.sealinemallorca.com Come along and share the adventure.
